Sociologists say our lives take place in three distinct locations.
The first place is our home. The second place is the office, all too often neglects the emotional needs of the people who work in it. The third place is our free time and what we do to regenerate. We often have our best ideas during this period of relaxation and distraction. The aim is therefore to capture the stimulation of the senses which people find in "third places" and to recreate this in the office. The office should become a perfect second place which feels just like a third place. We call this holistic design concept "Place 2.5 – the new emotional office culture".
Place 2.5 represents office worlds which offer the stimulating qualities and encourage staff to work together and develop outstanding ideas. This can increase office productivity by up 36 percent.
Even the Internet age, face-to-face dialogue remains the most effective and efficient way to communicate. Only direct dialogue allows to avoid a lot of misunderstanding and uncertain questions. We all know from experience that the best ideas are developed in a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.
